At our accredited Clubhouse, members build real-world skills, including computer training, financial literacy, culinary arts, data entry, and cognitive skills development. By equipping our members with the tools they need to build a brighter future, we’re not only transforming their lives but also giving their families renewed hope for a better tomorrow.

Help Provide Essential Items for our New Teaching Kitchen!
Our Teaching Kitchen is nearing completion! A Teaching Kitchen is a place where a community can come together, get hot and healthy meals, and learn how to improve their own health through cooking! Teaching Kitchens have been clinically proven to improve the long-term health outcomes of a community! It will be a gathering space that promotes healthy lifestyle changes that can prevent and even reverse chronic disease. Our goal is to reduce health care costs by teaching our members that food is medicine. Our teaching kitchen will be affordable, effective, life-affirming, and appropriate for all ages, cultures, and settings.
Clubhouse Giving Day 2025 is an opportunity to support this journey, among other vital initiatives.
Your donations will help provide essential items needed to complete the Teaching Kitchen, so we can begin training our members to cook and begin teaching them how to be responsible for their own health.
Giving day is not just about finishing our Teaching Kitchen but also about creating a supportive environment that fosters growth, independence, and wellbeing for all our members.
This year, your Clubhouse Giving Day donation is more impactful than ever. Funds raised will go toward the infrastructure and operational needs of our brand-new Culinary Training Kitchen – a key part of our workforce development program for adults living with serious mental illness.

What is Foot Print to Success Clubhouse
At Foot Print to Success Clubhouse, we provide a supportive, community-based environment where adults living with serious mental illness in Broward County can rebuild their lives, regain confidence, and reenter the workforce. Many of our members have faced social isolation and unemployment due to their diagnosis, but here, they find connection, purpose, and opportunity.
Through our programs, members gain valuable job training, educational support, and life skills that foster independence and stability.

In nearly 15 years, Foot Print to Success has helped Clubhouse members secure jobs that have generated almost $4 million in wages, a powerful testament to the life-changing impact of your support.
Clubhouse Giving Day, a global initiative led by Clubhouse International, gives our local community the chance to come together, raise critical funding, and support a worldwide network of Clubhouses offering mental health recovery services. Last year, Clubhouse Giving Day collectively raised nearly $146,000 to fund this important work.

Our Clubhouse in Pembroke Pines
Foot Print to Success Clubhouse recently relocated to 8201 Pembroke Road, Suite 101 in Pembroke Pines from Lauderhill. The new 4,900-square-foot Clubhouse enhances our capacity to serve more adults in the region and, for the first time, provide affordable housing to some of our members. Our partnership with Carrfour Supportive Housing made this possible. Our new Clubhouse also features a state-of-the-art training kitchen, which will be central to the Clubhouse’s job training program, providing members with valuable culinary skills for future employment in the hospitality industry.
What is the Clubhouse Model
The Clubhouse Model is a globally recognized, evidence-based approach to mental health recovery that empowers individuals to reclaim their lives through purpose-driven community engagement and employment opportunities. At Foot Print to Success Clubhouse, we refer to those we serve as members, not clients or patients, to emphasize dignity, equality, and personal agency.
Our strengths-based model focuses on what each individual can do, supporting their goals and abilities rather than defining them by their diagnosis. Within our supportive mental health community, members participate in daily work activities, such as culinary training, administrative work, and community outreach, all of which build confidence, structure, and practical skills.
After approximately six months of volunteering in the Clubhouse, members become eligible for transitional employment – a proven path to independent, sustainable employment. Our staff partners directly with local employers to match members with meaningful jobs that offer competitive wages, providing hands-on training, on-the-job support, and a bridge to long-term workforce success.
Through the Clubhouse Model, we help individuals living with serious mental illness access the tools they need to grow, thrive, and achieve lasting recovery.

Louise is currently employed by the City of Pompano Beach. She works 30 hours a week, Monday -Thursday, as an administrative assistant and makes $14/hour. Louise has stated that she is doing so much better now that she is employed because it gives her hope for a better future. She has never had a job that offers all the benefits of being employed by the city. She is very enthusiastic each time the staff speaks with her. The new position has helped her family become financially stable, and she has the possibility of permanent full-time employment.

My name is Kamaria, and at the age of 11 I was diagnosed with a non- malignant brain tumor called pineal blastoma, which caused me to have a lot of surgeries. After that, I had walking and learning issues, but I still managed to finish regular school and culinary school. At 29, I had another tumor in my heart which I managed to beat. That was also non- malignant. Now, I have depression because of all this. It makes me think why all of this had happened to me. But since coming to Foot Print, I don’t think about those things so much anymore. They keep me busy mentally. If I can say anything about Foot Print, it’s that they helped me to have a more focused life.

My name is Felicia. Seven years ago, my Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor told me about Foot Print to Success Clubhouse, They told me the Clubhouse can help me get a job and teach me new skills. I told Ms. Barbara that I needed a cardiologist because my primary doctor said I had a fast heart rate. At the Clubhouse, Ms. Barbara helped me find a doctor for my heart, so that I could get better and participate in the Clubhouse activities. They also have helped me with figuring out my dietary needs so I can keep healthy. I have also learned lots of things like learning how to cook and do filing and doing the menu and how to answer the phone and take messages. My favorite thing that the Clubhouse has taught me is how to answer the phones, which will be helpful in my receptionist job searches. Over the years I have had four heart surgeries. I was told that my diet must improve. In the past I ate fast food, but I know now that eating fast food is unhealthy. The Clubhouse taught me how to prepare healthy meals for me and my daughter. When I needed help with my Social Security Review, the clubhouse walked me through the entire process. When I was going through a divorce the Clubhouse paid for parenting classes. The Clubhouse helped me file papers with the court and sat with me during the divorce proceedings. With everything that was going on with me, I was very depressed and anxious. The Clubhouse helped me find ways to cope with the stress in my life. Clubhouse Mediation, and Yoga classes helped me control my anxiety. The Clubhouse is where I belong, we are a family. I wouldn’t be where I was today without the Clubhouse!

My husband’s psychologist recommended that my husband, Jorge, join Foot Print to Success Clubhouse. Three months later upon my urging, Jorge toured the Clubhouse. He became a member in 2011. Five years before joining the clubhouse Jorge was hospitalized 27 times for schizophrenia and during that time had three failed suicide attempts. After joining the Clubhouse, Jorge had one hospitalization. My husband said he has found a purpose in his life. He helps other members realize that recovery is possible for everyone. Today, in addition to being a member, Jorge is a NAMI facilitator for peer-led support groups.

My name is Ashlay and I am 32 years old. I have been attending Foot Print to Success Clubhouse for the past nine years. The Clubhouse has helped me in so many ways. The clubhouse has encouraged me to be outspoken, practice self-advocacy and give me hope for the future. Foot Print to Success Clubhouse has held my hand in grooming me to be the best person I can be by nurturing my strengths and giving me opportunities to succeed in life. The Clubhouse has helped me pursue my dream of becoming a peer specialist. I have applied for housing in Pembroke Pines and was accepted. This will be the first time that I will be living in permanent housing and the first time I will be living by myself. Foot Print to Success Clubhouse helped me in my recovery.
