At FPT, we structure our days using a system we call the Work-Ordered Day. This structure mimics real world workplaces and is a crucial part of how we prepare our members for employment, and independent living.
The Work-Ordered Day refers to the structure and schedule used for member tasks in Clubhouses. The concept is that the Work-Ordered Day resembles a normal business working day, but in a safe environment for members. It engages members in all the operations of the Clubhouse.
Units
Our Clubhouse has a total of three “Units”. Each one consists of different tasks & xx for members to complete each day, following the Work Ordered Day. The combined work done in each unit comprises the entirety of the running of a Clubhouse! Our Members truly keep this place ticking!
